Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the site in coordination with the Works Supervisor and various trades.
  • Ensure construction works meet schedules and commitments.
  • Team management, including onboarding, verification of authorizations, and presentation of the building site.
  • Organize and plan missions and work based on site requirements and progress.
  • Support teams' professionalization and upskilling, and manage HR processes.
  • Encourage professional best practices and govern improper conduct.
  • Building site preparation and installation, including administrative documentation, construction works definition, and schedule establishment.
  • Communicate procedures and documentation to teams and ensure understanding.
  • Ensure equipment and materials are present and available, anticipating needs and managing supply.
  • Implement signage and security devices, prepare access roads, storage areas, and set up living quarters.
  • Supervise acceptance, storage, and boarding of supplies.
  • Monitor construction progress, perform technical checks, and decide on corrections.
  • Draft and communicate the building site report.
  • Ensure equipment and facilities are kept in good condition.
  • Ensure successful completion of each part of the works, including acceptance, stop points, and feedback.
  • Organize building site withdrawal, including cleaning and inventory.
  • Participate in construction handover.
  • Collect and communicate elements for the as-built drawing.
Specific Activities
  • Pipe works site supervisor/feeder: opening, repairing, and closing trenches.
  • Demolition/decontamination site supervisor: checking diagnostics, registration of networks, and withdrawal plan.
  • Rail works site supervisor: ensuring compliance with safety standards and cleanliness.
  • Earthworks site supervisor: managing tracks and platforms, traffic zones, and production rates.
  • Roads supervisor: excavating trenches, laying pipes, coating, and transporting materials.
Requirements
  • Significant experience as a Team Leader.
  • Authorizations may be required based on the position.
  • Minimum Safety Training Standards (SMS) and Authorization to Intervene Near Networks (AIPR).
Environment

Reporting line: Works Supervisor. Internal relations: Engineering Consultants, Support Department, Journeymen. External relations: sub-contractors, clients, suppliers, local residents, service providers.

Formation: Student in a DUT/BTS program in Public Works, seeking an internship.

Compétences: Curious, reactive, and organized. Interested in discovering the careers of the Route and having good relational skills.
