Job Summary

Lumon Production NA Inc. is seeking a skilled Glazier to join our team. As a Glazier, you will be responsible for installing and repairing glass and other glazing materials in various settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine the type of glass, frames, and materials required for each job
  • Measure, mark, and cut glass to fit specific requirements
  • Position and secure panes in frames, ensuring proper alignment and sealing
  • Assemble and install prefabricated glass, mirrors, or glass products
  • Install door and window hardware, including handles and locks
  • Repair glass doors and other glass structures, ensuring safety and functionality
  • Supervise other workers and ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
  • Transport cases of glass and other materials to and from job sites
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages, using proper safety equipment and techniques
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installation and repair
Work Environment

As a Glazier, you will work in a variety of settings, including commercial, industrial, and residential locations. You will be required to work at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages, and may be exposed to extreme temperatures, dust, and other environmental factors.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Physical stamina to lift and move heavy materials
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
