The service department is an important area of our business, ensuring that our equipment is ready and available for our customers. This position requires a hard-working, dedicated individual with excellent attention to detail, who can excel in a busy, team-oriented environment.

This role involves participating in safe workplace safety, environmentally sound behaviors and practices at all times in support of Battlefield's health and safety policy programs and initiatives;
- Diagnosing and repairing Battlefield and customer equipment;
- Performing inspections on equipment on job site;
- Ensuring parts are ordered in a timely manner;
- Maintaining logs and document repairs accordingly;
- Maneuvering efficiently and effectively within the region in all traffic situations;
- Providing excellent customer relations in a fast-paced environment;
- Adapting to on-call work schedules and willing to work in all weather conditions;
- Ensuring vehicle is maintained and organized;
- Performing other duties as assigned.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

- Experienced technician or 3rd/4th year apprentice with the ability to diagnose, perform failure analysis, and repair all types of construction equipment.
- Existing knowledge of construction equipment and building products.
- Hands-on experience in the repair and service/maintenance requirements for various types of construction equipment.
- Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy in accordance with company and factory standards.
- Ability to work independently, and in a team atmosphere.
- Good communication and people skills.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Operating and maintaining all shop equipment and ensuring a safe, clean & organized shop area.
