Job Title: Azure Architect

We are seeking an experienced Azure Architect to design the technical architecture of our portal in Azure. The successful candidate will adapt the tools and data store to this new environment.

About the Role

The Azure Architect will be responsible for designing the technical architecture to share inspection data via an Azure web portal. This includes incorporating the existing data store functionality (C++ library with API-calls to obtain data) in the Azure technical architecture solution. Additionally, the candidate will incorporate various third-party components to manipulate and visualize the inspection data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design technical architecture to share inspection data via an Azure web portal
  • Incorporate existing data store functionality in the Azure technical architecture solution
  • Incorporate third-party components to manipulate and visualize inspection data
  • Use latest Azure components and mature proven software frameworks for the solution
  • Secure environment to protect valuable customer data
  • Select and implement/configure authentication and authorization mechanism to access viewing functionality and data
  • Create proof of concept with all required ingredients for the web portal
  • Share Azure knowledge to ensure implementation can be understood, maintained, and extended after the assignment
Requirements
  • BSc/MSc degree in Software Engineering or related field or proven track record in Azure technical architecture knowledge
  • C++ knowledge required for back-end data handling application
  • Good verbal and writing skills in English
  • 5-10 years of experience in software business in a technical branch and/or technical-oriented software products
  • Experience with design and requirements methodologies (UML, Use cases, etc.)
  • Experience with DevOps practices and tooling (e.g. Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines)
  • Experience in deploying cloud-applications within Azure environment
  • Scrum certified (e.g. PSM-1) is an advantage
