Black & McDonald is seeking a skilled Service Plumber to join our Service Division in Regina, SK. If you're a hands-on, customer-focused professional with a passion for the trade, this position is for you.

The Service Technician role is located in Regina, SK and reports directly to the Service Supervisor. As a Service Plumber, you'll be responsible for performing planned maintenance activities on commercial plumbing and heating equipment, diagnosing and troubleshooting issues, and executing small re-pipe and retrofit projects.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance on commercial plumbing and heating systems
  • Diagnose and repair complex plumbing and heating issues
  • Organize and execute small re-pipe and retrofit projects
  • Complete daily service reports and labor and material take-offs
  • Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and team members
  • Participate in rotating 24/7 emergency on-call support

Education Requirements

  • Red Seal Plumbing Trade Qualification
  • B-Gas Certification
  • Cross Connection Control Certification
  • A-Gas Certification (asset)

Work Experience Requirements

  • Relevant Industry Experience (required)
  • Consideration may be given to those who demonstrate a strong work ethic and passion for the trade

Skills, Abilities, and Other Requirements

  • Clean Class 5 SK Driver's License and abstract
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of basic computer skills
