Culinary Business Development Specialist

As a Culinary Specialist at Gordon Food Service, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and supporting the fruit, vegetable, and dairy segments. This position requires a strong understanding of the food industry and the ability to develop relationships with customers to provide value-added services.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain relationships with current and potential customers to provide business solutions and support.
- Provide product knowledge, guidance, and training to the Sales team to drive sales and increase market share.
- Work collaboratively with the Sales and Marketing teams to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to achieve sales and margin goals.
- Interface with key customers to understand their needs and provide customized solutions.
- Execute key customer menu developmental plans and provide back-of-house consulting to customers.
- Participate in planning, coordination, and execution of various events to promote business growth.
- Bachelor's degree and Culinary degree or 5 years of experience in food service operations in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in business development, consulting, or sales within the food industry.
- Strong knowledge of fruit, vegetable, and dairy products.
- Excellent customer service, mentoring, interpersonal, and communication skills.
