Job Title: Veterinarian, DVM

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinarian to join our team at Bedford Parks Animal Hospital. As a Veterinarian, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to our patients, while also building strong relationships with our clients and their pets.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality medical care to patients, including examinations, diagnoses, and treatment plans
  • Build strong relationships with clients and their pets, providing exceptional customer service and communication
  • Collaborate with our veterinary team to ensure seamless care and communication
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical knowledge and techniques through ongoing education and training
  • Participate in hospital-wide initiatives and committees to improve patient care and hospital operations

Requirements
  • Valid veterinarian license allowing practice in Canada
  • Registered with the NSVMA
  • Experience in soft tissue surgical procedures, preventative care, and offering nutritional advice
  • Dedicated to promoting team-based medicine practices
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills in working with colleagues, pet parents, and community
  • Passion for coaching and mentoring students along their DVM journey
  • Interest in attending conferences and networking with colleagues
  • Love for all companion animals
