We are seeking an experienced Electronics Technician to join our team at Western Scale Co. Ltd. as a Power Equipment Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing power equipment and systems, as well as assisting in the design, development, and testing of electronic components.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Development: Design and develop power equipment and systems, including electronic components and assemblies.
- Testing and Calibration: Assist in inspecting, testing, and adjusting electronic components, as well as calibrating electronic equipment and instruments.
- Prototyping and Testing: Assist in building and testing prototypes to specifications, ensuring that they meet the required standards.
- Diagnostic and Analytical Skills: Set up and operate specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, test, and analyze the performance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies, and systems.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Health Benefits: Dental plan, health care plan, and vision care benefits.
- Work Terms: Permanent position with 35 to 40 hours of work per week.
- Language: English.
