Job Title: Finance Manager

AECOM is seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join our team in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario, or Saskatchewan. This is a hybrid work opportunity that offers the flexibility to work from an AECOM office, remote location, or client site.

About the Role

As a Finance Manager, you will partner with Operations to drive financial performance and compliance. You will gain in-depth knowledge of the business line's operating environment and projects, and manage a small team. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing guidance to employees within established policies
  • Recommending changes to policies and establishing procedures that affect the immediate organization
  • Working on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including understanding of current business trends
  • Acting as an advisor to subordinates to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems
  • Managing the coordination of activities of a group or department with responsibility for results
Key Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Commerce, or a related field, plus 10 years of relevant financial management experience and 2 years in leadership
  • Professional accounting designation, such as CPA

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Financial management experience in a professional services or project-based environment
  • Proven experience building relationships with operational leaders and project teams, influencing business decisions and outcomes
  • Strong commercial acumen, along with excellent financial modeling and business analysis skills, with the ability to interpret and communicate complex financial data effectively
