Job Title: Painter

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team at Mustang Construction. As a Painter, you will be responsible for preparing, cleaning, and sanding surfaces to be painted, repairing cracks and holes, and applying paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and repairing cracks and holes.
  • Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces.
  • Erect scaffolding and swing stages and attach rigging as needed.
  • Advise consumers on colours and choice of wall coverings.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in painting or a related field.
  • Ability to work outdoors, at heights, and in confined spaces.
  • Attention to detail and hand-eye co-ordination.
  • Ability to distinguish between colours.
  • Physically demanding work.
