About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance team at RONA Inc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading revenue analyses for our corporately owned stores and Pro (B2B) business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a financial business partner to the Operations and Pro team leaders, providing strategic guidance and support.
  • Analyze and interpret financial results related to Sales & Margin for the corporate stores, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Participate in forecasts and budgeting for the Pro & Retail business, monitoring variances between actual results and budget.
  • Support business partners in developing action plans and monitoring results, ensuring alignment with financial objectives.
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis to explain results and identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Participate in the business case for new projects, providing financial insights and recommendations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
  • At least 6 years of experience in a financial role, preferably in the retail industry.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented individual with a focus on delivering high-quality work.
  • Excellent analytical, synthesis, and communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and multi-stakeholder collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly growing environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of IT tools, including Excel.
