About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Treasury Consulting Analyst to join our team at Equitable Bank. As a key member of our Treasury Consulting team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to credit union clients on interest rate risk management, profitability, liquidity, and capital metrics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement interest rate risk models to assess credit union balance sheets and provide recommendations to senior management.
  • Analyze and interpret simulation results to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with credit union clients to collect and enhance modeling assumptions.
  • Provide timely measurement and reporting of interest rate risk and other key metrics to support effective decision making.
  • Assist in the development of forward-looking rate and balance sheet scenarios to assess impacts on credit union balance sheets.
Requirements
  • University education with a focus on Finance/Accounting, or Business.
  • Treasury experience is an asset, but individuals with a background in the financial industry may also be successful.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior-level individuals within the credit union system.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Word, with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.
