About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Worker to join our team at PVT Energy Group. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our commercial building and industrial facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs to ensure a safe and clean environment for our employees and visitors.
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other refuse from our facilities.
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings to ensure a clean and well-maintained facility.
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies to support the daily operations of our facilities.
  • Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair to maintain the overall condition of our facilities.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to create a welcoming and aesthetically pleasing environment.
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures to ensure a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Work with minimal supervision to demonstrate your independence and self-motivation.
  • Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas to ensure a safe and accessible environment during winter months.
Requirements
  • Repetitive tasks and handling heavy loads are a regular part of this role.
  • Physically demanding work is required, including bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • More than 45 kg (100 lbs) may be lifted or moved during the course of your duties.
