Aerospace Engineer Liaison

We are seeking a highly skilled Aerospace Engineer Liaison to join our team at Bombardier. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for resolving fit, form, and functional issues on aircraft components and for repairs required during the manufacture of Bombardier Aerospace products.
Key Responsibilities- Resolve fit, form, or functional issues on aircraft components and for repairs required during the manufacture of Bombardier Aerospace products.
- Find solutions to any problem with the aircraft structure and/or systems that is reported and raise necessary documentation to overcome the problem quickly and efficiently.
- Repair and/or salvage dispositions with respect to engineering specifications, concepts, and integrity of design, as well as, sign for dispositions on behalf of the engineering department.
- Work closely with all specialists within engineering, such as design, stress, materials technology, aerodynamics, performance, and others as required in order to problem solve and/or address any problems reported.
- Support production, design engineering, procurement, and quality in coordinating resolutions to issues and providing corrective action involving engineering.
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Provide status, updates, and keep current on information regarding manufacturing changes and problems.
- You hold a bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical/aerospace engineering or a related field.
- You have a minimum of five (5) years MRB experience or seven (7) years design experience in aerospace.
- You have excellent knowledge of aircraft structure and system installation technical requirements.
- You have electrical and systems experience (considered an asset).
- You are an energetic person with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a high sense of commitment, and a willingness to accept responsibilities while acting independently in a high-pressure partner/supplier team environment.
