The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating the psychological and mental functioning of individuals, as well as determining, recommending, and implementing interventions and treatments to promote mental health and restore mental well-being. This will involve designing and implementing evaluation, orientation, consultation, and psychological treatment activities tailored to the individual and collective needs of clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate the psychological and mental functioning of individuals
  • Determine, recommend, and implement interventions and treatments to promote mental health and restore mental well-being
  • Design and implement evaluation, orientation, consultation, and psychological treatment activities tailored to the individual and collective needs of clients
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and research in the field of psychology

Requirements

  • Doctoral degree in psychology
  • Membership in the Order of Psychologists of Quebec
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
  • Proficiency in English (oral and written comprehension and expression)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Neuropsychology certification
  • Experience working in a community health setting
  • Knowledge of community resources and services
