Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure all electrical equipment and systems are operated and maintained safely and effectively.
  • Perform regular inspections of electrical equipment to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Conduct root cause analyses to determine the source of electrical malfunctions.
  • Develop and implement strategies to prevent electrical equipment failures.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior electricians on electrical maintenance procedures.
Requirements
  • Holder of a Provincial Electrician Journeyman Trade Certificate License or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical maintenance in a mining or industrial setting.
  • Proven track record of identifying and resolving complex electrical issues.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
