We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Supervisor to lead a team for one of our clients in the Edmonton area. This company is growing year over year and is global in its reach
This role offers the opportunity to be part of changes across financial operations, credit, and collections policy and procedure. You will have the ability to be hands-on in advising senior management on ways to improve systems and training procedures.
This is a hybrid work model due to the management aspect of this role.
Key Responsibilities- Train and develop staff to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties effectively.
- Manage collections for a wide variety of customers, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of outstanding balances.
- Conduct credit evaluations and decisions, ensuring quality evaluations are sent up the chain for approval.
- Maintain and propose changes to credit policies to ensure they are aligned with company goals and objectives.
- Provide audit support for AR samples, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Evaluate the current credit card terminal system and suggest changes if necessary.
- Implement ERP systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing processes.
- 5+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable.
- 2-3 years of supervisory experience, preferably in a financial operations role.
- Ability to approve credit and conduct employee training.
- Experience with collection processes and ERP system testing and implementation is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of credit policies and procedures.
