Dishroom Attendant

At BC Ltd, we are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Dishroom Attendant to join our team. As a key member of our culinary staff, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our dishrooms and kitchen areas.

• We offer an attractive salary of $35,000 - $45,000 per year, depending on experience.
• This is a full-time position with a minimum of 30-40 hours of work per week.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

1. Bussing tables and clearing dirty dishes, glassware, and utensils from serving areas;
2. Operating dishwashers to ensure clean and sanitized dishes, glassware, and utensils;
3. Cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment, appliances, and storage areas;
4. Removing kitchen garbage and trash;
5. Washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits as needed;
6. Assisting with food preparation and portioning when required;
7. Maintaining a high level of personal hygiene and adhering to company health and safety standards.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• No degree, certificate, or diploma is required;
• A willingness to train and learn new skills;
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
• Strong communication and teamwork skills;
• Ability to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods;
• A valid Canadian driver's license (not required but an asset).
