Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Localization Specialist - Brazilian Portuguese to join our team in Montreal, Canada. As a Localization Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of Brazilian Portuguese language content in video games.

Responsibilities:

  • Proofread and identify Brazilian Portuguese language errors in video games
  • Ensure console manufacturer guidelines are followed
  • Write reports of all errors/bugs found to help improve the game
  • Provide feedback on the game to ensure it meets quality standards
  • Identify missing or incorrect content in the game
  • Perform ad hoc translations as needed

Requirements:

  • Native-level proficiency in Brazilian Portuguese is mandatory
  • Strong cultural understanding of Brazil
  • Excellent proficiency in English is essential
  • Basic proficiency in French is required
  • Computer literacy - particularly with Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail
