We are seeking a skilled Transport Truck Trailer Mechanic to join our team at Transport Chalut 2000 Inc. in a permanent position.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for adjusting, repairing, or replacing parts and components of commercial transport truck systems, including electrical and electronic systems, diesel engines, brake systems, hydraulic systems, fuel and emission systems, and welding.

They will also perform scheduled maintenance services, complete reports to record problems and work performed, and discuss work with supervisors.

Responsibilities:
  • Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems
  • Discuss work with supervisor
  • Inspect mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience or equivalent experience
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Ability to drive manual transmission vehicle
  • Steel-toed safety boots
  • Tools
