About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our kitchen team as a Kitchen Assistant. As a key member of our food service team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, adhering to our menu and quality control standards.
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars, ensuring that all food and supplies are properly stored and organized.
  • Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our staff and customers.
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas, accurately recording inventory and managing stock levels.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, maintaining a clean and tidy workspace.
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, ensuring that our kitchen and dining areas are clean and well-maintained.
  • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit, preparing ingredients for our menu items.
