Job Title: Accounting Clerk

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Clerk to join our team at Chowdhury Insurance Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and reconciling accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
  • Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Post journal entries
  • Prepare trial balance of books
  • Reconcile accounts

Requirements:

  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in accounting
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a team environment
