Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Metalworking Machine Operator to join our team at KI Canada. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating metalworking machines to produce high-quality metal products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Machine Operation: Safely operate various metalworking machines, including presses, lathes, and milling machines, to produce metal parts and products.
  • Quality Control: Inspect products for accuracy, quality, and specifications, and document any issues or defects.
  • Maintenance: Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime.
  • Material Handling: Select and transport materials to the work area, using manual or mechanical means, as required.
  • Documentation: Accurately document work completed, including production times, materials used, and any issues encountered.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a metalworking or manufacturing environment.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to work accurately and efficiently, and good communication skills.
