Anatomical Pathology Specialist

Job Description:

This role involves performing post-mortem examinations of animals while following ethical regulations and directives from study plans. Your contribution will ensure the health of our animals and the integrity of our pre-clinical studies.

• Dissecting and evaluating animal tissues for pathologists.
• Weigh and document all abnormalities of the organs.
• Euthanize animals prior to performing the necropsy.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

• A collegial diploma in animal health or a related field.
• Dissection experience is an asset.
• Good observation skills.
• The ability to work physically (lift up to 20 kg, walk, stand, stoop, etc.).
• An understanding of written English is mandatory. Bilingualism in French and English is preferable.
