We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team at Gregory Dube. As a Personal Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Assist clients with meal preparation and cooking
  • Shop for groceries and household supplies

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Reliability and a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

Work Setting:

  • Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis
  • Room and board provided

Security and Safety:

  • Criminal record check required

Weight Handling:

  • Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)

Experience:

  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience

Language:

  • English
