At JD Sports Canada, we're looking for a driven and passionate Assistant Store Manager to join our Carrefour Angrignon, Lasalle team. As a vital part of our rapidly growing retail business, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience while fostering growth and development within the team.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will ensure operational excellence by performing managerial tasks, such as scheduling, maintaining inventory, and evaluating employee performance. Your key duties will include:

  • Ensuring the team delivers outstanding customer service through coaching and motivating them to drive sales.
  • Maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction by staying knowledgeable about all products offered.
  • Training and developing a team focused on delivering exceptional experiences to our community through coaching and feedback.
  • Generating business results and achieving key KPIs.

We're seeking someone with a passion for streetwear and sneaker culture, who has a minimum of 2 years of retail experience, supervising, training, and coaching sales associates. You should be confident and comfortable engaging customers to deliver an elevated experience.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A strong understanding of the retail industry, including problem analysis, decision making, and financial analysis.
  • Resourcefulness and versatility in responding to changing demands and opportunities in a rapidly evolving omni-channel retail environment.
  • A high level of ethics, values, integrity, and trust.
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
