About the Job

We are seeking an experienced truck mechanic to join our team at CB Canada. As a Penske Technician II, you will be responsible for assisting in the overhaul of major components and removing/ replacing major components at the direction of a Lead Technician or Maintenance Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with diesel engines, transmissions, and differentials
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake adjustments, and tire rotations
  • Assist in the repair and replacement of vehicle components, including engines, transmissions, and differentials
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety and quality
  • Collaborate with other technicians to complete repairs and meet deadlines
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience as a truck mechanic
  • Current driver's license class G or class 5 and the ability to obtain class DZ within 6 months of being hired
  • Basic computer skills for data entry into maintenance systems
  • Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment
  • Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
