We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Safety Professional to join our team at Higher Talent. This is a permanent position that requires the candidate to have a strong background in fire systems technology and pipefitting.

About the Job

As a Fire Safety Professional, you will be responsible for reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and other technical diagrams to identify potential hazards and implement safety measures. You will also perform on-site servicing and repair of fire protection systems, ensuring that they are functioning correctly and safely.

This role involves working in various locations, including outdoors, underground, and confined spaces. You must be willing to relocate and travel regularly, with transportation provided by the employer.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A Mine Safety Certificate and First Aid Certificate
  • Experience in fire safety inspection and industrial/commercial/institutional (ICI) construction
  • A valid driver's licence and a willingness to travel overnight and for extended periods

You will also require excellent oral communication skills, flexibility, and initiative, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
