About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Food Preparation Specialist to join our team at Restaurant Mon Village. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to a high standard, ensuring that all dishes are presented attractively and are of the highest quality.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, to maintain a high level of hygiene and cleanliness.
  • Stock Management: Stock refrigerators and salad bars, and receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas, ensuring that all stock is properly labeled and stored.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Language: English or French is the primary language of communication in this role.
  • Work Hours: 20 to 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varying shifts.
