About the JobThis is a permanent full-time position requiring 40 hours of work per week. The selected candidate will be responsible for transporting various items and products to customers in a timely and professional manner.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and drive company vehicles safely and efficiently to pick up and deliver goods;
- Provide excellent customer service by being friendly, helpful, and responsive to customer needs;
- Process payments or invoices for delivered items;
- Communicate effectively with central dispatch to receive and relay information;
- Maintain accurate records of received and delivered items;
- Prepare, package, and restock goods as needed;
- Load and unload goods from vehicles;
- Sort packages for delivery in a efficient and organized manner;
- FOLLOW DIRECTIONS and read maps to navigate routes;
- Record trip details such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any issues encountered;
- PAYMENTS FOR GOODS MUST BE MADE AND RECEIVED CORRECTLY;
- DELIVER PRODUCTS TO CUSTOMERS IN A PROFESSIONAL MANNER;
- The ideal candidate should be a TEAM PLAYER who is able to WORK WELL UNDER PRESSURE;
- The successful candidate must have NO DEGREE REQUIRED but must be WILLING TO TRAIN;
- Ability to work 40 hours per week;
We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 - $60,000 per year based on experience, which is above average for the industry.
