Key Responsibilities- Establish and Implement Operational Procedures
Develop and implement effective operational procedures to ensure the smooth running of our food service department, including managing inventory, scheduling staff, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Supervise and Train StaffSupervise and train staff in their job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide guidance and support to ensure they are meeting our high standards.
Manage Food Quality and SafetyEnsure that all food products meet our quality control standards, and implement procedures to prevent foodborne illness and maintain a safe working environment.
Manage Customer ServiceAddress customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, and ensure that our customers receive exceptional service.
Manage Inventory and SuppliesEstimate and manage inventory and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
Prepare and Submit ReportsPrepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators to management.
Work EnvironmentThe Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, and will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail and be able to work in a physically demanding environment.
Requirements- Education
College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
Experience1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
LanguageEnglish.
Work Hours30 hours per week.
