About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at Freight Hawk Logistics Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation of Goods: Load and unload goods from our trucks, ensuring timely and safe delivery to our customers.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of our vehicles, including tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage equipment.
  • Logistics Coordination: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption to ensure efficient logistics operations.
  • Emergency Response: Perform emergency roadside repairs and ensure the safety of our drivers and the general public.
  • Pre-Trip Inspections: Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections to ensure our vehicles are roadworthy and meet safety standards.
Requirements
  • Class 1/1F/A Licence: Possess a valid Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi-trailer trucks) and a Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • Work Experience: Willingness to train and gain experience in the transportation industry.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with varying weather conditions and long hours.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Hours: Work a regular schedule of 50 to 60 hours per week.
