Maintenance and Repair Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance and Repair Specialist to join our team at CASH FOR CARS LTD. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, making adjustments and repairs to various systems, and ensuring the overall safety and security of our premises.

About the Role

This is a full-time permanent position requiring a minimum of 30 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have experience in maintenance and repair, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and quality workmanship.

As a Maintenance and Repair Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining and repairing heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems;
  • Contacting contractors for major repairs and maintenance;
  • Performing minor repairs on appliances;
  • Conducting safety and security checks;
  • Moving heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies;
  • Performing other routine maintenance tasks such as painting and drywall repair.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate;
  • At least 7 months of experience in a maintenance or repair role;
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor.
