About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaning Services Assistant to join our team at Palca 86 Cleaning Services Inc. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our clients' properties.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, and wash windows, walls and ceilings.
  • Work Setting: Our clients' properties include apartment/condominium complexes, office buildings, industrial facilities, commercial buildings, recreational facilities, and hospitals/medical facilities.
  • Transportation and Travel: You will be required to use your own transportation to travel to and from job sites, and may be reimbursed for travel expenses.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: This role requires working in a fast-paced environment, working under pressure, and being physically demanding. You must be able to bend, crouch, kneel, and stand for long periods of time.
  • Weight Handling: You will be required to lift and move objects weighing up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: We are looking for a punctual, dependable, and organized individual with good judgement and initiative. You must be a team player with strong values and ethics.
  • Financial Benefits: This is a permanent position with a pension plan and 30 hours of work per week.
