Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct nursing care to residents, administer medications and treatments as prescribed, and develop and implement individualized care plans. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively as part of a team, and possess a compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Assist in developing and implementing individualized care plans.
  • Monitor residents' health status and report any changes to the nursing team.
  • Educate residents and their families on health management and wellness.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
  • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team members to enhance resident care.
  • Ensure compliance with facility policies and BC health regulations.

Qualifications:
The successful candidate must have a valid LPN license in British Columbia, current CPR/First Aid Certification, and previous experience in long-term care or a related field. They must also possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively as part of a team, and have a compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.

Salary and Benefits:
The salary for this position is $32.84-$33.65 per hour, with a flexible schedule that includes 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, day, evening, and night shifts, on-call, and weekends as needed. Benefits include a flexible schedule and on-site parking.
