Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled DevSecOps Engineer Consultant to join our dynamic team, where security, development, and operations converge to create seamless, secure, and scalable systems. In this role, you will integrate security practices into the DevOps pipeline, automating processes to enhance the overall security posture while ensuring the rapid, reliable delivery of software.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage CI/CD pipelines in an AWS environment.
  • Integrate static code analysis tools into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Engineer support to containerize multiple applications simultaneously per migration wave through the contract period of performance.
  • Create release documentation (release notes, version description documents, architecture diagrams, etc.) in a US federal contracting environment, preferably within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) or one of its subordinate agencies like the United States Citizenship & Immigration Services (USCIS).
Requirements
  • 6-10 years hands-on experience working with DevOps / DevSecOps tools.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science, Engineering or a directly related discipline; or in lieu of a degree, a total of at least 10 years of comparable work experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills – must be able to communicate fluently in English both verbally and in writing.
  • Experience in implementing and executing processes to create and maintain automated CI /CD pipelines for code deployments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • AWS DevOps Professional certification.
  • AWS SysOps Administrator Associate certification.
  • Experience with the following tools: Jira, Jenkins, GIT, AWS CodeBuild, AWS Code Deploy, Docker, SolarWinds, SonarQube / Fortify / AWS CodeGuru.
