The Respiratory Therapist - Clinical Specialist plays a critical role in providing expert care to patients with respiratory conditions at Prairie Mountain Health.
About the Role:- This clinical specialist will work closely with our healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care and provide guidance on therapeutic principles and technical skills.
- Consult with medical and nursing staff on respiratory clinical applications, ensuring seamless care delivery.
- Collaborate with home care teams to provide input and follow-up for patients, families, and physicians.
- Evaluate and advise on new respiratory equipment, driving innovation in our facilities.
- Perform regular functional checks on respiratory equipment to maintain quality standards.
- Repair and troubleshoot equipment as required, prioritizing timely resolution of issues.
- Provide emergency repair support in operating rooms and for home care equipment.
- Develop and deliver educational programs on respiratory therapy, enhancing knowledge among staff.
- Work closely with medical staff and nursing teams to plan respiratory therapy and management strategies.
- Participate in ICU rounds, collaborating with physicians to develop ventilator management plans.
- Conduct diagnostic procedures, assessing respiratory conditions and responses to treatment.
- Collect blood samples as required, supporting accurate diagnosis and treatment.
We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, reflecting your expertise and dedication to patient care.
