The Associate Insurance Advisor III plays a pivotal role in supporting and developing the agency's operations. This position involves providing inbound sales and service for life and wealth products, leveraging a broad knowledge of The Co-operators' personal lines (auto, home) and specialty lines (farm and commercial).
Key Responsibilities:- Drive profitable growth of Life and Wealth products through inbound sales and service.
- Develop and implement sales strategies for both personal lines and specialty lines products.
- Provide expert advice and recommendations on coverages and policies to meet client needs.
- Identify and recommend additional products/services to benefit clients, focusing on prospecting for all lines of business.
- Conduct front-line risk assessments and selections, adhering to underwriting guidelines, and complete inspections and re-inspections.
- Achieve individual goals for client service, sales, quality, and productivity, contributing to overall agency sales and growth objectives.
- Respond to client inquiries, resolve customer complaints, and escalate issues appropriately.
- Proactively complete client reviews on auto, home, farm, and/or commercial portfolios.
- Strong communication skills to explain complex information clearly.
- A valid driver's license.
- Strict confidentiality regarding client financial status and personal information.
- Direct client contact and/or service provider interactions in their environment.
- Subject to a Criminal Record and Consumer History background check as a condition of employment.
- Remain focused and optimistic in goal pursuit, managing time effectively for client satisfaction.
- Leverage client information to qualify sales opportunities, exhibiting strong communication skills.
- Commit to continuous improvement and building productive client relationships to exceed expectations.
- Be an effective team player, providing guidance to support peer development.
- A minimum of 2 years insurance industry experience, including sales experience.
- General Insurance license and Life license required.
- Meet provincial-licensing requirements for continuing education to obtain and maintain licenses.
- Knowledge of insurance products and strong underwriting skills is an asset.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
