About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team at Best Western Cold Lake Inn. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring our guest rooms and public areas are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, and distribute clean towels and toiletries.
  • Stocking and Supply Management: Stock linen closet and ensure adequate supplies are available for guests.
  • Guest Services: Handle and report lost and found items, attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, and provide basic information on facilities.
  • Housekeeping Operations: Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, clean and disinfect elevators, and pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns and provide excellent customer service.
Work Environment

As a Housekeeping Room Attendant at Best Western Cold Lake Inn, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on providing exceptional customer service. You will be required to work under pressure, handle heavy loads, and be physically demanding. You will also be required to work a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and stand for extended periods.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in this role.
