Child Development Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Child Development Specialist to join our team at Tots World Daycare. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children.

The ideal candidate will have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role. You will lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs and taking children to local points of interest, and encourage children to express creativity through the media of art, dramatic play, music and physical activity.

As a Child Development Specialist, you will also be responsible for guiding and assisting children in the development of proper eating, dressing and toilet habits, and observing children for signs of potential learning or behavioural problems and preparing reports for parents, guardians or supervisor.
