Job Title: Drilling and Completions Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Drilling and Completions Engineer to join our team at MEG Energy. As a key member of our Drilling and Completions team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise in project planning, project optimization, and key performance indicators.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement drilling and completion plans to ensure safe and economic project execution.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Prepare drilling and completion cost estimates and programs for field execution.
  • Monitor and analyze project performance data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to drilling and completion operations teams.
Requirements:
  • Engineering degree and APEGA membership.
  • 4-6 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, specifically in drilling and/or completions in thermal operations (SAGD).
  • Strong technical knowledge of drilling and completion operations and equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
