Job Title: Computer Network Technician

We are seeking a skilled Computer Network Technician to join our team at DATOS SUPPORT CONSULTING INC.

Job Summary

The Computer Network Technician will be responsible for coordinating access and use of computer networks, maintaining, troubleshooting, and administering local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate access and use of computer networks
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and administer LANs, WANs, mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment
  • Monitor the performance of computer systems and networks
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade web server hardware and software
  • Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software
  • Perform routine network start-up and close-down and maintain control records
  • Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations
  • Respond to requests for help and information from Website visitors and Website designers
  • Perform Web-server backup and recovery operations
  • Supervise technical staff
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years

The Computer Network Technician will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
