About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Intermediate Structural Engineer to join our team in Toronto or Ottawa. As a key member of our Structural (Buildings) Team, you will be responsible for designing and preparing plans and specifications for various engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively participate in the design and preparation of plans and specifications for steel, concrete, wood, masonry, and other materials.
  • Conduct studies, surveys, technical reports, and structural inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Supervise the execution of structural work during the construction phase to ensure quality and safety.
  • Maintain and develop client and stakeholder relationships to ensure successful project outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably with a strong background in structural design software (ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, etc.).
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
