This role is part of a specialized group within the engineering team, supporting a commercial aircraft program in the capacity of Design Engineer specialist for In-service support.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess structural damage to the aircraft and respond to AOG situations.
- Investigate in-service problems, resolve source of failures and find effective solutions.
- Propose repair solutions aligned with sector regulations and customer requirements.
- Work closely with design authorities and subject matter experts on stress, Aero, Materials & Processes.
- Prepare design reports for certification purposes and design generic structural repairs for metallic and composite structures.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in aerospace industry repairs (In-service, MAP/MRB).
- Proficient in CATIA V5, Enovia and PLM configuration.
- Strong knowledge of aircraft structure and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
