About the Company:

Our client, a rapidly growing business in Canada, is seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join their team. This 3-month contract role has the potential to become permanent. Working closely with the HR and Finance teams, the Payroll Administrator will play a key role in ensuring accurate, timely payroll processing while maintaining compliance with company policies and legislative requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Process full-cycle payroll for employees across multiple provinces using ADP software.
  • Ensure compliance with provincial and federal regulations, including payroll tax submissions and remittances.
  • Handle employee inquiries related to payroll, deductions, and benefits with professionalism and accuracy.
  • Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare reports for management as needed.
  • Maintain and update payroll records, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Collaborate with HR to manage employee changes, such as new hires, terminations, and salary adjustments.
  • Support year-end activities, including issuing T4s and preparing records for auditors.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for improving payroll processes and efficiencies.

What You'll Need to Be Successful:

  • Previous experience in payroll administration, with strong familiarity with ADP systems.
  • Knowledge of Canadian payroll regulations and practices, including tax compliance.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professionalism in handling sensitive and confidential information.

The estimated annual salary for this role is $65,000 - $85,000 CAD, depending on experience. This figure is based on industry standards for similar positions in the Canadian market.
