About the Role:
The Toronto-Dominion Bank (Canada) is seeking a highly skilled Financial Planner to join our Wealth Management team. As a Financial Planner, you will play a critical role in helping our clients achieve their financial goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive financial planning and analysis to identify clients' financial goals and objectives.
- Develop and implement personalized financial plans to help clients achieve their goals.
- Provide ongoing financial planning and advice to clients to ensure they remain on track to meet their objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their financial needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to ensure clients receive the best possible advice.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless delivery of financial planning services.
Requirements:
- IQPF licensing required prior to start date.
- Canadian Securities Course (CSC) required.
- 3 to 5 years of banking experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CIRO license preferred (required within first 90 days in role).
- Complete Conduct & Practices Handbook (CPH) within first 90 days in role.
- Complete Wealth Management Essentials (WME) within first 30 months in role.
- Deep understanding of the industry, competitive landscape, and economic market issues.
- Strong communication skills with ability to work collaboratively and independently, provide assistance, and build relationships.
- Speak both English and French is an asset.
