About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Teaching Professor to join our team at the Khoury College of Northeastern University in Vancouver, Canada. As a Teaching Professor, you will play a key role in shaping the educational experience of our students and contributing to the growth and development of our academic programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach and develop courses in engineering and computer science, with a focus on hands-on instructional elements and experiential learning.
  • Advise students on academic matters and provide guidance on career development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify new and industry-trending subjects for curriculum advancement.
  • Contribute to the development of academic activities and course delivery materials to support course objectives.
  • Perform service to the unit, university, and profession, including research and scholarship, diversity initiatives, and community engagement.

Requirements

  • PhD in Information Systems, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in higher education and/or a relevant engineering field.
  • Expertise working with diverse student populations and a commitment to teaching excellence.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
