About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Musical Instrument Technician to join our team at Sinoman Music Ltd. As a key member of our repair and maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our stringed instruments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and diagnose issues with stringed instruments to determine the necessary repairs
  • Use hand, power, or specialized tools to repair or replace defective parts and components
  • Test and adjust repaired instruments to ensure proper functioning
  • Calibrate instruments using hand tools and maintain a high level of precision
  • Train or arrange for training to stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies
  • Supervise workers and projects to ensure timely completion and high-quality results
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
  • Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions
  • Recommend personnel actions to ensure a well-functioning team
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient use of resources
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed at all times
  • Prepare reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement
  • Co-ordinate and schedule activities to ensure seamless workflow
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
  • Permanent employment with a minimum of 30 to 44 hours per week
  • Fluency in English as the primary language of communication
Preferred Qualifications
  • MS Office skills for efficient documentation and communication
  • Manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination for precise work
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Client focus, organized, reliable, and a team player
Work Environment

This role is based in an urban area, and the work setting is primarily focused on repair and maintenance. The ideal candidate will be physically demanding and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
