Roofing Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Roofer to join our team at Thorpe Industries Ltd. in a permanent position.

• Install built-up roofing systems using materials such as asphalt saturated felts and hot asphalt and gravel.
• Install single-ply roofing system using waterproof sheet materials, such as modified plastics, elastomeric or other asphaltic compositions.
• Repair or replace single-ply roofing systems.
• Repair roofing systems.
• Apply waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces below or above ground level.

• Roofer Trade Certification.
• Working at heights training.
• Occupational Health and Safety Certificate.
• First Aid Certificate.
• CPR Certificate.
• Rooftop Safety Training.
• Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
• Fall Arrest Protection Training Course.

The successful candidate will work at heights, outdoors, and in various locations. They will be required to handle heavy loads, bend, crouch, and kneel. Steel-toed safety boots are an essential requirement.
