At Celeros Flow Technology, we are seeking a skilled Assembler to join our team in a unionized position. This role offers a probationary rate of $29.72.
The Assembler will be responsible for assembling and testing product line valves using best practices, processes, and internal controls within the assembly area. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of commonly used functional and technical concepts, practices, and procedures within manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:- Assemble a complete pump according to established procedures.
- Cut, file, scrape, fit, level, balance, and align components to meet inspection and design requirements.
- Read and interpret drawings, detect potential problems, and work with supervision.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, blueprints, and assembly and test procedures.
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
- Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions in various formats.
- Knowledge of product and assembly/test applications.
- Ability to operate forklifts, reach trucks, and cranes.
- Ability to perform basic manual lathe and milling operations.
- Minimum high school education.
- One to two years' experience in Assembly/Test.
- Experience in interpreting work orders.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Perform in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail.
- Comply with all Health and Safety standards.
